Anyone loving this warm weather?? Because I sure am!! So I figured today when I got my nails done that I'd do SPRING Nails...

Gets me in the "Springy" mood

TODAY IS WHISPER'S "OFFICIAL" 17th  BIRTHDAY!!
Wow where is time going?? I feel like every time I blink, I blink another week away... I can't believe Whisper is 17 years old!!! Whisper and I have become so close in the past few years [[ever since we didn't have to share a room anymore]] and I love that!!! I LOVE that my best friends are my mom and sisters!! Whisper had to share her birthday with the Drill Team Revue night.. She is never one to complain about anything but that's why mom decided Whisper's birthday would last from Saturday till Tuesday!! Which I thought was a GREAT idea, because Whisper deserved it!!! Prepare for the pictures, because I love taking them so I have so many that I want to share!!

Whisper's Birthday Weekend

Dakody went to Jackson Hole for the snowmobile hill climbs so Friday after work Millie and I packed up and headed for Coalville. Millie loves to go to grandma and grandpa's house [[because she rules the roost, and gets all the attention that she can imagine]]. Well this weekend is Whisper's weekend [[because]] it's her birthday weekend!! I love birthdays!!! So we [[Mom, Whisper, and I]] set out to Salt Lake to go shopping!! Did I mention how much I LOVE shopping!!! Well I do our first stop was T.J. Max (my favorite store),we spent almost two hours in there which is quite normal for us... We found quite a few things which is typical for me. Then went to Rue 21 where we found a few more things for Whisper. I ended up getting tie-dye nail polish..

Then we decided to go to City Creek... When we finally got into the parking lot we started thinking this may of been a bad idea... We went up and there were people packed shoulder to shoulder, lines super long so we took some pictures and decided we'd try again in a few weeks when it calms down a little...

Then we headed to the fashion place to finish our shopping. To finish the night we met the rest of the family to go to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack for Whisper's birthday dinner [[even though it's not officially till the 27th but around here we like birthday weekends]].

Whisper got to be a hula dancer while they sang happy birthday to her... She was a good sport!!!
It was a great night together as a family!!! Sunday came... Sunday's are great days!! Church, lazy afternoons, naps, yummy dinner [[prepared by my mom of course!!]]

It was a GREAT weekend... Weekends come and go quick around here, but we sure LOVE them!!! I actually think I live for weekends!!!

Honeymoon!!

I still think its hard to believe we're married!!! Or old enough to be married... Some mornings I wake up in a panic thinking I'm late for drill team. Then realize that oh ya your an adult now, you have to go to work!! I love being married though, it's the best being married to your best friend!! Don't get me wrong it's not always easy, but I sure love him!!!

For our honeymoon we went to Las Vegas!! Our first vacation without anyone but us!! Well can I just tell you how hot it is in Vegas in June?? Well it is, it got up to 102 one of the days. I can't imagine July there or how people live there!!! We're talking walk outside and your sweating [[like you didn't just take a shower 15 minutes earlier]] that's not a fun feeling... But we had a lot of fun!!! We forgot a camera and so we bought one of the disposable ones they didn't turn out to well of pictures :( so I'm emphasizing... Anyways we stayed at the Excalibur, very nice hotel. We went to Tournament of the Kings dinner show one of the nights; which I would highly recommend [[my third time seeing it, Dakody's first]] but it's totally worth the money!! We will be going to it next time we're in Vegas!!!

We also decided one of the days we would walk the strip to the Stratosphere thinking it was a better idea than taking the car out...[[BAD idea]] Anyone realize how extremely long of a walk the strip is?? We didn't, so about halfway there we decided we couldn't walk the rest of the way so we got a cab [[another BAD idea]]. Cab's are expensive!!! But we finally made it to the Stratosphere. So we decided we wanted to ride the rides on the top... Well you have to pay just to go to the top of the tower, so we payed for the tower admission and one ride. They make you choose which one you want to go on without seeing them, we had no idea what was what so we chose the Insanity [[thinking it sounded cool]] and headed to the top... We got up there and saw the Insanity one took you over mid air and spins you. Dakody says no way am I doing that [[I was quite relieved thinking to myself that I didn't like the idea either]] so they said we could chose a different one so we chose to do X-Scream. In our opinion totally waste of money.. So after the rides we went down to look out the windows and see the view. It was really fun looking at Vegas from above. Very cool view!! To get back to the hotel we decided to take a bus this time [[much better idea]]!!

In the Excalibur they have a buffet and you can pay for a all day pass which is very good idea we thought, and it had good food so we practically ate every meal at the buffet in our hotel. We also went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at the Mandalay Bay. That was a lot of fun.We went on the New York roller coaster several times... My favorite thing to do in Vegas...

Statue of Liberty in New York Hotel
Made out of CANDY!!

I wasn't old enough to gamble yet so we didn't do much gambling besides Dakody putting in the penny slot machines a few times. It was quite funny because neither of us knew what we were doing. So we didn't do much of that [[plus I think Dakody felt bad since I couldn't]]. Spent lots of time at the pool [[our favorite thing to do]] the Excalibur pool is very nice. Our honeymoon was short and sweet... We only stayed four days, but we had a lot of fun!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Our Wedding! June 4, 2010

Getting Ready for a wedding can be quite stressful. You'd think 6 months would be plenty of time to plan a wedding but it seriously flew by!! Did I mention that weddings are [[VERY]] expensive?? Well they definitely are!! So my budget was a little tight but my Mom was determined to make it work!!! And she definitely did!!! Lots of people helped us get ready for our big day!! My Mom was the biggest help I wouldn't have been able to plan this wedding without

her!! I'm so lucky to have the BEST Mom in the world!!! She made our day a very special day!! My Aunt Lisa also helped A LOT if you need any help planning something she is the person to call because she has a lot of [[GREAT]] ideas and if she doesn't have it she will find it for you!! So grateful that she is in my life as well. We had a lot of people donate time, money, borrowed us stuff. It's nice to have so many great people in our lives especially when your planning a wedding!! We had found this decorator from Aunt Lisa's area that decorates weddings!! She is amazing!!! So we went and met with her and looked through her book and found lots of great ideas. My Mom and I were in love and said we have to use her!! So my Mom said she would find a way to fit her into our budget... And she did and I was so glad!!! I think I had the most beautiful wedding ever!!! [[Not being bias or anything... lol]] Dress shopping was short I loved the first one I tried on but Grandma was going to have to do some fixing to it because it was a strap less dress, so my Grandma Brown, Mom, Whisper, and I set out to find the matching material [[which was a chore]] but we found it and Grandma made me a beautiful jacket to make me modest and I think it completed the dress!! Grandma Brown also made all but one of my bridesmaids dresses and Mom's dress so she was a busy bee for my wedding!! She is an amazing seamstress!!! Our colors were pastels which I thought would be easy colors to find but they weren't we searched everywhere for pastel items!! We really lucked out on finding as much as we did but we used Tai Pan Trading [[LOVE this store]] A LOT!! I couldn't even tell you how many trips we made to that store but it was A LOT!!!

Wedding Day

June 4, 2010 Dakody and I were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. It is such a great an amazing feeling to be married to my best friend for all eternity!! My wedding day was the best day of my life so far!! Such a special day!!!

We had a lot of support!!

Dakody's dad pushed his mom in a wheel barrow when they got married so they said since we had wheel barrows as some of our decorations we had to do it too... Rick pushed Lynette around town we only made it down the road a little ways our tire was a little flat.

Everyone thought it was so funny

Then we were ready to head on our way for a honeymoon.

I swear my car had paint still on it that we couldn't get off when we sold my car...    That night we stayed at the "Inn on a Creek" in Heber compliments of my in laws && the next day we headed to VEGAS!!!!

The day I'll always remember, the [[BEST]] day of my life becoming Mrs. Sabrina Gines (that makes me sound old... lol)
